How I met Izzy Stradlin
We were at a wedding together. There were a lot of old school rockers there. It rocked…to say the least.

I was working with a local television show and they were doing an interview with us. They ended up needing someone to help get them to a meeting with their local record label rep and so I had them follow me to Old Chicago…hahahaha!
The very first GF show I saw was in the mid ‘90’s and they were just starting out on a tour. They were watching the other bands play after their set and we just sat by them and talked…they offered us beer.
Many years later, I was writing a music column for a school newspaper and I wanted to do an interview with John Fledman. Everything went great, we had the interview and I watched a slammin show afterwards. John told me my interview was better than Rolling Stone…I will never forget that.
After they played a show we were talking to Matt out by the bus and Rivers comes along asking if we saw which way “that Asian girl went” it was pretty funny.
The last time I saw them was Aug of 2008. We hung out with Rachel and Ben after the show and had some drinks at a local bar. Rachel told me I was a bright light in the universe. It made me smile. We also said hi to Matt and some other members but they were being a little grumpy so we left them alone.

We were at a haunted house and he made an appearance. He had hot women and snakes. It was awesome. We told him he was a legend.
We just stood outside the venue she played at and waited along with lots of other people. She was super sweet and very accommodating
